2007 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

92 Points Wine Spectator

Double Gold, Seattle Wine Awards

Gold, San Diego International Wine Competition

The last block of Cabernet harvested in 2007 gave us an amazing wine to work with.  Blended with 12% Petit Verdot and aged 22 months, it will be a wine for the ages.  Distinctive flavors and aromas of blackberries, black currants, anise, dried cherries, and spice flood the senses with flavor.  Full-bodied and rich with caramel, tobacco leaf, and cedar notes on the languishing finish.  This is the first Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon we have made since 2003 and the 2003 Reserve was picked by Wine Spectator as one of the top 100 Cabernet Sauvignons in the world.

2009 Dedication Six

90 Points Wine Spectator

Gold, Indy International Wine Competition

Our sixth release of Dedication is a blend of six varietals; 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Syrah, 26% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Malbec.  Lush, ripe plums, red currants, black cherries and a hint of dried roses and herbs on the nose are balanced by acidity and tannins that are smooth and graceful, not overbearing.  Rich on the palate and long on the finish, the over all effect shows balance and finesse.

2008 Walla Walla River Winery Barbera

This Barbera was made by Dave and Debbie as a salute to their old winery at the airport.  Barbera is an Italian varietal with rustic, full-bodied fruit.  This Barbera has character and a hint of bramble and herbs.  Ripe cherry and plum with soft tannins and a robust yet polished finish make this an excellent wine with food and friends.

Which one is your favorite? Even we, here at the winery, can’t agree!
