Cat’s Away Rosé is a blend of 71% Cab Franc and 29% Merlot, delivering a floral perfume of peach blossom and a hint of cherry pie. In the mid-palate, this wine remains true to its Rosé nature: light and playful like a mischievous cat, but strong with bold flavors of strawberry, apricot and Rainer cherry with a hint of pineapple. The finish is crisp and refreshing, and just like good head scritches will leave you wanting more. Our very own winery cat, Whiskey, graces the label of this pleasant porch sipper. This label celebrates our winery cat Whiskey who passed away in early 2024. She lovingly protected our winery and small Riesling vineyard from birds, gophers, and other stray pests.
